Ask the
Problem Solver
We will be adding a new feature called "Ask the Problem Solver" to our monthly newsletter.
It is an interactive opportunity for you to ask us for advice about various telecom related topics or ask about problems you are having difficulty solving. Offer us your suggestions and opinions, comment on a story and/or suggest a story idea. Perhaps you want to let us know how we can improve our website or your experience with our customer service department.
Whatever it is, the point is, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Any problems we can't solve we'll try to point you in the right direction.

Want to keep your phone number private?
These days with internet technology this is quite difficult but there is a way to keep your number private for free (that is if you have patience). It's called Google Voice. Currently it is available by invite only and there is no info available as to how long you'll be waiting for your invite. Perhaps with enough inquiries and interest shown Google will make the technology readily available to everyone! With its cool features, too many to list here, it does seem worth the wait.
- A single number for all of your phones
- Free calls and text messages in the contiguous US and Canada
- Call screening; announce callers based on their number or by an automated identification request for blocked numbers
- Listen in on someone recording a voicemail before taking a call
- Answer an incoming call on any of your phones
- Phone routing, choose which phones should ring based on who calls
- Listen to voicemail online or from a phone
- Receive notifications of voicemails via email or text messages
- Personalized greeting that vary greetings by caller
- Record calls and store them online
- Switch phones during a call
Don't want to wait for your GoogleVoice invitation? These sites offer similar services for a fee.
